New Recipe: Agidi

Agidi is made from corn starch called Ogi.


Corn cob


  1. Remove grains of corn from corn cob (stick)
  2. Soak for four days in a closed jug.
  3. Strain water from jug and grind corn finely.
  4. Using a fine sieve strain grind corn several times.
  5. Leave to settle for 1 day and strain surplus water on top.
  6. Residue is ogi
  7. Mix strained residue and put in a pot.
  8. Put pot over the fire and cook mixing with a wooden spoon till colour changes
  9. Remove from fire.
